Still Spring Garden in late November
This is a wonderful time of year to look closely at the details. Thank you, Jennie and Chris, for planting two coral honeysuckle (Lonicera sempervirens) on the slope facing the parking lot. It was no easy task! Hopefully, the plants will climb up the dead cedar tree trunk for support.
I focused on the red hues of the oak leaf hydrangea leaves and did not notice the insect until later. The tree with the large red leaves may be an oak (Quercus).
Going up the trail, you might see beautiful leaf patterns, American holly (Ilex opaca), lichen, and moss. A small bit of time yields many details.
