Memorial Garden in February
Sandy B, Mary H, and Jane W turned out for the GBBC on Feb. 15 in the Memorial Garden. We recorded 8 bird species on the eBird app: red-tailed hawk, black vulture, chickadee, tufted titmouse, white-breasted nuthatch, Carolina wren, northern cardinal, and white-throated sparrow (or white-crowned sparrow - we weren't sure, so posted a comment when we submitted the list to Cornell). There is much more to see and hear when you give yourself a few minutes to visit the gardens and trails.
