Covid-19 Accomplishments by Rachel S. and Friends

My work to help medical professionals during the pandemic:

My sister is in Ear, Nose, and Throat at Nashville General Hospital (NGH). In mid-March, she told us that she had access to only two N95 masks. So, I started sewing fabric masks for her and her colleagues and organizing other local seamstresses. Before long, I connected directly with the materials management department at NGH. They had (and still have) a desperate need for PPE so I have been contacting businesses and individuals for PPE donations and also purchasing PPE with cash donations.

To date, this work has helped supply 3000 fabric masks and N95 covers, 534 ear savers, 5000 gloves, 4600 shoe covers, 570 masks, and 700 bouffant caps. If you know of any business or individuals who might be able to help let me know. (I can provide an in-kind form for a tax deduction.)
