Summer Saturday Leadership Retreats: Team Leaders Reserve Retreat Date/Time Now!

Summer is when we plan for the next year, especially for Fall worship, religious education, covenant groups, social action events, and community events. Plus the Board and Healthy Congregation Teams set their goals for the new year!

As Shared Ministry co-chairs, Rev. Cynthia and Kristin have met and would like Team leaders interested in having a summer leadership retreat to sign-up for their Saturday. That way we won’t conflict (too much!) and Rev. Cynthia will be able to participate or drop in as she is able.

We recognize that it is hard to meet virtually and planning for and attending retreats is not spending time doing other summer activities. We appreciate your taking the time to consider how to implement changes to your programming and events to support virtual meetings and social distancing. It will pay off in the Fall when we get back into the swing of things.

Topic to Consider

Please plan to report back to Shared Ministry how you would handle the following for your Team:

  • Programming/Events: if we are 100% virtual

  • Programming/Events: if we are in a hybrid model - some people attend live and others attend virtually

  • We have to be prepared to plan Fall Programming/Events using a virtual model.

  • If you would like to reserve specific dates in the Fall for events or for regular zoom Team meetings, please let Kristin R. or Kris T. know so we can start planning a calendar.
