Road trip!

Dear Gnuuc ers!
Has this been a strange, slow ride or what? Perpetually April 53rd. Groundhog day...
Since covid-19 began, I think I've been on exactly three trips outside a two mile radius of my home.
Well.... to make up for that squelched wanderlust and balance my karma(or should I say *carma*?), Starting August 17th, I am traveling across our teetering republic with my best friend of 32 years, Rick, and his silver lab( looks like a Weimaraner but way more goofy and fun), the irrepressible, Lily.

Rick's mother is 82 and having health challenges and really wanted to see her. I really wanted to continue the work I started with my therapist a year ago. Neither of us think flying is prudent at the moment.

Out of this brew of circumstances was born:
Travels with Lily: a road trip in the time of Covid

Please follow us on Facebook!

Our outward route is Madison Wisconsin to Sioux Falls to Fort Collins to Salt Lake City to Reno to the East Bay.
If y'all know cool people(or congregations)that want to share tea, conversation, lodging, secrets of life etc, please hook us up!

In the next few days, when my yoga teacher finishes them, I'll be posting videos: Yoga for High Middle Aged Road Warriors but these simple exercises will make you feel good even in your cozy, perhaps a little too familiar at this point, home.

If you have any questions you want us to ask of people we meet along th way, in our enthusiastic but thoroughly unscientific method to take the *pulse of our citizenry*, please let us know as we hope to make a
video blog as well.

Also, please let us know your experiences if you've had the pleasure of chasing vanishing points!

Please, if you have concerns or ideas about how we can stay healthy, now is the time to share.

Sending hugs to you all. Until we can meet in person, please enjoy our adventure with us.

Love,
Roger

PS wash your hands and don't touch your eyes!
