January 2023: Share the Plate with Americans United for Separation of Church and State: ‘Freedom Without Favor, Equality Without Exception’
Americans United for Separation of Church and State is a nonpartisan educational and advocacy organization dedicated to advancing the separation of religion and government as the only way to ensure freedom of religion, including the right to believe or not believe, for all. Please donate to Americans United through Share the Plate in January, defending freedom of religion, and freedom of belief.
The Nashville Chapter of AU, founded in 2001, with the leadership of GNUUC member Charles Sumner, works to promote and protect religious freedom in Tennessee and in Nashville by educating, speaking out, monitoring state and local developments and rallying citizens to defend religious liberty. It works with local organizations, community activists, faith leaders and houses of worship to safeguard church-state separation.
