Memorial Garden in late April

The allium blossoms are beautiful, and the Italian arum has surprises for each season. The hostas are big and lush, and the deer love them, too. The lily-of-the-valley is enchanting. The one-year-old red buckeye, planted in memory of Bob Watkins, is doing very well. We've seen a red-tailed hawk more than once, but not this one, who lives in Nevada.
