Safety and Upcoming Services
Christmas Eve (Dec. 24, 4 p.m., in sanctuary and on Zoom/YouTube)
If you are joining us online, you might want to have a candle and lighter nearby.
If you are joining us in person, be aware that the pandemic situation changes daily, and I am keeping an eye on it. Unless the CDC or local authorities say otherwise, we will gather in person, knowing that the GNUUC Board has created policies that help us all mitigate risk and care for each other:
Please be thoughtful about your own risk levels and join by Zoom if that feels safer.
Masks are especially important and required by our policy. KN95 masks provide the most protection, but any mask worn properly (fitting close to the face and covering from above the tip of the nose to down around the chin) is an expression of love for others and yourself.
Please be aware of maintaining generous spacing between household groups when we are sitting in the sanctuary. (Yes, you can move in closer for greetings–if you and those you are excited to see feel comfortable with that–but it’s safer to remain spread out as much as possible.) If we need more room, the Fellowship Hall has a large screen & good speakers set up to livestream the service, as well as some fun seasonal crafts set out, for the restless among us! (Thanks to our amazing children’s religious education folks.)
We will quite likely be leaving doors open to help with ventilation, so be prepared for the sanctuary to be chillier than usual.
Sunday, Dec. 26, 11 a.m. In sanctuary only, with Rev. Denise
Sunday, Jan. 2 – No service! (Your worship and tech teams will be enjoying a well-earned holiday.)
Every week beginning Jan. 9: Service and Children’s Religious Education at 11 a.m. on Hicks Rd. Service also on Zoom and YouTube.
