Come celebrate Spring with us! During this combined Worship/CRE event we will have the following fun events planned:
A short meditation.
Let’s take a moment to bless and celebrate our Still Spring Park.
Planting a community garden!
We are planting two raised bed gardens. Nathanael R. will be making the beds. Join us during the Spring Festival to get them installed and plant some seedlings. This will be a fun multigenerational event!
Plus we’ll have garden related crafts & activities.
A egg hunt.
For our children and teens. If you would like to contribute bags of wrapped candy BEFORE April 9, let Kristin R. know.
A Community Service Project.
We are having a drive for the Oasis Center’s Emergency Shelter for teens aged 13-17.
Here is their wish list:
Duffel bags or suitcases
New bath towels and wash cloths
Diapers and wipes
Black or brown belts in all sizes, neckties
Short sleeve t-shirts (blank shirts are popular!)
Gift cards that are food specific (e.g., McDonald's, Krystals, etc.)
Gift cards to purchase groceries or other household items (e.g., Walmart, Target, etc.)
New twin XL mattresses (and covers)
Sleeping bags
Shorts and capris
New in-package underwear for all sizes and genders
11x14 canvases or stretched panels for art studio
Adult-sized biking helmets
