Still Spring Garden in mid-Summer

The hillside, memorial garden, and playground that comprise Still Spring Park are lush in July.

More than 38 species of plants in the garden have been identified. Many thanks to Sandy and her sons Chris and Eric, to Caren and Adrian, and to Jennie and Chris for their helping hands.

The garden paths are newly mulched by New System of Nashville Landscapers. We gardeners are working to remove invasive plants.

New System pulled up the honeysuckle stumps in the Glade and prepped the ground with wood chips over cardboard.

We will let water, weather, and Mother Nature do their magic for a few months while we design with natives for the Glade.

Look for the bird baths and the bee house.

You can't miss the refurbished signs - they pop! Do you notice what is not there anymore?*

The corner at the steps to the upper garden looks so clean.

The lilies are bright, and the large leaves of the unusual Italian arum have disappeared. Now there are red berries!

The garden is open - please visit.
