The 'Memorial' in Memorial Garden

I became a contributor to the Find A Grave website because it is a special medium for recording memorials of deceased family members and loved ones and for linking with ancestry. So when Find A Grave expanded to accommodate memorials for non-burials, I decide to create an online site for members of my GNUUC family whose cremains are deposited in our “Still Spring Memorial Garden”.

I’ve spent many hours searching for obituaries, biographies, photos, and family links of the individuals memorialized in our garden. I’ve entered 20 memorials, some with incomplete data and all subject to additional photos (individual and/or family) and ancestral links. If you have anything to add, let me know so I can include it or assist you in entering it. You can add photos without being registered as a contributor but not biographical information or family links. You can suggest edits from the site that will come to me for final updating.

You can review the site here: Still Spring Memorial Garden in Bellevue, Tennessee

Thank you very much, Gene, for your reflection. If you click on "20 added" on the homepage, you will see all twenty names. Gene advised us on selecting the Red Buckeye tree to commemorate Bob W. We are hopeful that the tree, planted in Fall 2018, is mature enough to bloom this spring.
