In order to sustain our mission we count on your support. Help us meet our goal of $100,000 for the current Fiscal Year (July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022)!
Letter From Our Pledge Drive Chair
Dear Members and Friends,
Thank you for supporting Greater Nashville Unitarian Universalist Congregation. Because of your financial contributions, our congregation has been strong when we needed it most. Together we have come through an extraordinarily challenging year.
We are planning our budget for the next fiscal year, and ask for your pledge. With the retirement of Rev. Cynthia Cain, GNUUC will be seeking a new minister. If you missed the Town Hall by members of the Board, Worship, and Finance where we discussed the search, see your email for a link to the recording and a congregational town hall.
Through your support in the next year, we can continue to realize the mission of our congregation: to transform ourselves, our community, and our world through the power of love; to embody a sanctuary of compassion, integrity, and respect; and to champion justice, equity, and peace. Now is the time for us to renew our commitment to one another, to our community, and to our world. By giving our time, our talents, and our money, we can support those in need, and serve as a voice of love, acceptance, and hope in a world that needs to hear these things. Our lives have been radically altered, and are changing once again as we begin to emerge from our year of isolation.
It is still a time of great uncertainty for many of us. Pledge what you can. Know that if your circumstances change, you can change your support. If you can give more, do so, knowing that you are contributing more in a time when others can contribute less. Please help us continue our mission by visiting https://www.nashvilleuu.org/pledge and pledging generously as you are able.
Thank you.
Jesse Spencer-Smith, Pledge Chair
