In Times Like These: NOAH Annual Banquet on August 17
It’s time to celebrate all the work NOAH has accomplished while we invest in equity!
NOAH is looking forward to its 2023 Annual Banquet on Thursday, August 17, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at the Millenium Maxwell House Hotel. Our keynote speaker will be Dr. Adren Wilson, Vice President, Youth Opportunity Programs and Executive Director of My Brother’s Keeper Alliance at the Obama Foundation. Our theme is In Times Like These.
Musical entertainment this year will be provided by Wendell Bigsby and his band, as well as Nell Levin and Michael August!
The annual banquet is NOAH’s biggest fundraiser, so please plan to attend or purchase a ticket to sponsor someone else. Tickets are $125 and may be purchased online at: noahtn.org/donate or by check at: NOAH, PO Box 331144, Nashville, TN 37203. There will be no physical tickets, but receipts will be sent. The names of attendees will be listed at the door for entry. Organizations, individuals, and businesses are also encouraged to buy an ad in the banquet program. The deadline for purchasing tickets has been extended to August 14. Vegan meals will be available, so be sure to indicate on the online form if you would like one. See the accompanying flyer for more information about ad rates, tickets, and our keynote speaker, as well as some of NOAH’s recent achievements.
Our times always and continuously call us to action because as people of diverse faith, nonprofit and union backgrounds, we aspire to achieve the Beloved Community – a goal that is elusive but also within our grasp. Our ability to build the Beloved Community in times like these comes from organizing people and organizing money, in other words from people like you!
