November Share the Plate - Hurricane Helene 2024 Disaster Recovery through Greater Good Charities
Help Needed!
Hurricane Helene is now the second deadliest hurricane to hit the mainland U.S. and has left a trail of devastation across the southeastern states. Just days later, Hurricane Milton made landfall as a Category 3 Hurricane. Communities are grappling with catastrophic landslides, historic flooding, and relentless rainfall. Millions of people remain without power, and homes, streets, and businesses have been damaged or destroyed.
To help communities throughout the Southeast devastated by the storm, Greater Good Charities is sending 130 trucks with food, water, hygiene products, pet supplies, and more—delivering over $7.8MM+ worth of critically needed aid to over 50 of the hardest-hit communities, including small, hard-to-reach areas. We're also providing bee pollen substitute, sugar, and syrup to beekeepers impacted by the storm. Our teams are working tirelessly with dozens of local, state, and national partners to deliver assistance as efficiently and effectively as possible.
We urgently need your support to provide life-saving aid to people, pets, and the environment. Please donate now to help us continue our disaster relief efforts and respond to the evolving needs of those affected by this terrible storm.
Every second counts. Your support is critical — donate today.
