In times such as these, we need to know how to organize teams, to effect some changes, and resist other changes. NOAH is offering interactive training on community organizing, June 3, from 9am to 3pm, at SEIU Local 205, 521 Central Ave., 37211 (off Nolensville Rd, near Thompson Lane).
Topics will include: understanding the concept of “Power”, reclaiming self-interest as a necessary tool to motivate one’s self and others; creating relationships; and building powerful teams. The training is free, but registration is required. RSVP at http://www.noahtn.org/training or at 615-905-6624. A simple lunch will be provided for a donation of $8.
GNUUC is a proud member of NOAH - NOAH now having over 60 faith and values based member organizations - working together for affordable housing, criminal justice, and economic equity & jobs.
