Pledge Drive Update

Questions? Contact our Pledge Drive Chair, Jesse Spencer-Smith

Please help us continue our mission by visiting https://www.nashvilleuu.org/pledge and pledging generously as you are able.

We have raised $60,494 as of May 6. 2020 towards our Pledge Drive goal of $115,000. Please consider making a pledge today. Contact Jesse Spencer-Smith with questions.

Members and friends of the congregation can make a pledge. A pledge is a promise to donate a specific amount to our next Fiscal Year (July 2020 to June 2021). For example, you might pledge donate $50 or $100 per month for 1 year.

Letter from our Pledge Drive Chair and Minister

Dear Members and Friends,

Thank you for supporting Greater Nashville Unitarian Universalist Congregation in the past year. Because of your financial contributions, our congregation is strong when we need it most. Our minister and pastoral support team are providing emotional and social support. Volunteers are running errands and delivering food to those who are most vulnerable. Members are making masks, and sharing their skills with others. We are helping one another solve technical issues, so we can stay connected. And every Sunday, we are able to gather, find connection, and take solace. Because you contributed, Greater Nashville can bring us together.

Because of you, we’ve accomplished much this year! Even now, we stay vital. Rev. Cynthia has made numerous interfaith connections, and groups and committees have continued to meet on virtual platforms. Our GNUUC buildings will be our spiritual home once again, and our facilities still require significant renovations.

We are planning our budget for the next Fiscal Year, and ask for your pledge. Through your support, we can continue to realize the mission of our congregation: to transform ourselves, our community, and our world through the power of love; to embody a sanctuary of compassion, integrity, and respect; and to champion justice, equity, and peace.

Now, more than at any time since the founding of Greater Nashville UU, our children, our community and our world need us. By giving our time, our talents, and our money, we can support those in need, and serve as a voice of principles in a chaotic world.

Our lives have been radically altered, and many are facing struggles and uncertainty. Pledge what you can. Know that if your circumstances change, you can change your support. If you can give more, do so, knowing that you are contributing more in a time when others can contribute less.

Please help us continue our mission by visiting https://www.nashvilleuu.org/pledge and pledging generously as you are able.

Thank you.
