The Shared Ministries Council meeting is this Sunday, September 12, via Zoom. It will be from 3:00 - 4:00 PM with 30 minutes flex time. The Flex Time will be used for discussion on the indoor draft policy and what Teams need to support indoor/outdoor/hybrid events. Those who are not as interested in this topic are welcome to leave at 4:00.

3:00 PM Chalice Lighting and Words, Introductions
3:15 PM Presentation of Vison of Ministry 2021: To nurture our connections. Our connections to each other. Our connections to our physical place. And our connections to our Middle Tennessee community.
3:20 PM: Review of Outdoor Meeting policy and Presentation of Draft Indoor Policy. (discussion of indoor policy will be during Flex time)
3:30 PM: Brainstorming!
How can Shared Ministries leaders support one another to make connections happen this Fall?
Let’s pencil in some ideas / dates!
(NOTE - This is for brainstorming - Teams will later filter ideas and make them happen. This is a good time for cross Team coordination and support brainstorming as well. We can also brainstorm ideas to best meet in person and support hybrid, but these ideas will go on the Deeper Discussion board to discuss at 4 PM)
Worship & Music Team: Virtual? Hybrid? Outdoors/Indoors? Bell Choir?
RE and Covenant Groups: How can Worship & CRE coordinate dates/times? Outdoor space upgrades?
Building and Grounds Team: Volunteer model for sprucing up our building and grounds, Garden Days.
Social Action Team: Nashville AIDS Walk, NOAH, Share the Plate?
Fellowship Events: Movie Night? Fall Festival? Game Night? Art Day? Garden Day? Talent show?
Other Ideas?
4:00 PM Deeper discussion on Indoor/Outdoor policies and how to support hybrid events (in-person plus virtual component). What improvements do different Teams need to support our events? (We have budget set aside for hybrid upgrades. These ideas will go to B&G and Finance.)
