CRE July 18 Details

This month’s ONSITE Summer Fun Sunday CRE will be July 18 from 10:15 AM - noon. Please review details below for the schedule and COVID requirements. In June we set up the projector and screen and live streamed the service from 11:00 - noon and it worked really well!

This month's host is Claire S. and co-host is Susan D.

We will be tie-dying! Claire is very excited to share this activity with you!

Also, let us know your T-shirt size: (These are the $3.49 Michael's White T-shirts.)

Greater Nashville UU will cover the cost of the T-shirt.

If you would prefer to bring your own white T-shirt, socks, or bandana to tie-dye instead, just let us know.

In fact, you can order a T-shirt AND bring a 2nd item and IF we have enough supplies, you can do both!

Parents, we are asking for volunteers to bring these items. Please let Kristin R. know if you are able to contribute any of the following:

1 Big Bucket of water for shirt dunking

3 Small bowl/buckets for hand rinsing (1 per table)

3 Rolls Paper Towels (1 per table)

30 Gallon size Ziploc bags

Schedule

• 10:15 AM- 11:00: Children’s RE and Youth class

• 11:00 AM - 11:15ish: Children and youth attend service virtually through the Time for All Sages. (outdoors)

• 11:15ish - noon: Children /Youth will play on the playground and hang out, while parents live stream the service.

Covid-19 Accommodations

• Bring your mask: Although masks are not required outdoors by GNUUC policy if social distancing can be maintained, we are aware that children do not always follow social distancing guidelines. For this reason, we will continue to wear masks, unless teachers provide a mask break based on social distancing.

• The CRE building will be open for restrooms. One family in the building at a time. Doors will be left open for ventilation.

• If it rains, look for text directions in case the event is cancelled.
