Adult Religious Education 2023: Spiritual Practices
February Theme: Contemplative photography
The February theme is Contemplative Photography. You do not need any photographic skills for this practice, you do not even need a camera. If you have one available, on your smartphone or another camera, please bring it. Otherwise, an alternative tool will be provided. For those online, please bring a piece of paper and scissors.
About Spiritual Practices RE
Starting January 2023, Greater Nashville Unitarian Universalist Congregation will offer a new Adult Religious Education series on Spiritual Practices. Each month, we will explore a different spiritual practice – both learning about and then experiencing the practice. The practices chosen are aligned with the Soul Matters monthly theme.
To make these practices as accessible as possible, they will be offered in hybrid format (in-person and online) on the 3rd Wednesday monthly at 6:00 p.m. Choose whether to join us in-person or online.
The sessions will be led by the Rev. Dr. Michelle Pederson who is a spiritual director, a Veriditas-trained Labyrinth Facilitator and one of GNUUC’s affiliated community ministers.
Mark your calendars for spiritual practices on January 18; February 15; March 15; April 19; May 17; June 21.
Join us in person at Greater Nashville Unitarian Universalist Congregation 374 Hicks Road, Nashville, TN or online via zoom https://uuma.zoom.us/j/92840637625
