The Nominating Committee is taking nominations for three positions

The Nominating Committee is taking nominations for three positions: Member-at-Large, Secretary, and Treasurer on the GNUUC Board. The Member-at-Large position is appropriate for someone who may not have served on the Board previously, or someone who has not served recently. The Secretary position requires good organizational skills, note taking skills, and, ideally, experience with Google docs. The Treasurer position requires a strong background in financial management, with additional experience with church finances preferred.   2. Click the “Members” menu and choose “Go To Breeze Member Database.”
    It will ask for your username and password.

Our goal is to create a list of folks who have time, expertise, and interest in helping respond to community needs. At GNUUC we have a stellar group of folks in our Pastoral Care Team. We want to have an extra layer of volunteers to support them if the need arises. (With coronavirus, for example, it might be helping with childcare, grocery shopping, caregiving, or distance support through phone calls.)

Wow, Just Wow! The 2020 Great Backyard Bird Count exceeded all expectations and set the bar even higher when it comes to public participation in worldwide citizen-science events! This year's count smashed previous records for number of participants, checklists, and species reported. More than a quarter-of-a-million people were counting birds over the four days of the GBBC this year!
